Making Artwork with Google Slides

Layout and Illustration
with Rene Magritte

René François Ghislain Magritte was a Belgian surrealist artist, who became well known for creating a number of witty and thought-provoking images. Often depicting ordinary objects in an unusual context, his work is known for challenging observers' preconditioned perceptions of reality. (Wikipedia)

The lesson package inspired by Rene Magritte's "Personal Values" artwork is segmented into 3 parts, Research, Digital Layout and Drawing.

At Research Stage, students are required to identify and look for at least three objects from the daily life that resonated to their personality, habits or lives.

At Digital Layout Stage, they need to edit their photos/images with an editing app in order to compose a concept art on Google Slides.

At Drawing Stage, using mix-media, students will create an artwork on drawing paper based the digital layout they have created.
